In order to apply for the BankID client credentials for a company, you must meet the basic requirements:
- The person that will sign the contract must be in possession of one of these personal eIDs: Norwegian BankID, Swedish BankID, or Danish NemID
- Onboarding fees may apply.
To order:
- In the Idura dashboard, switch to the production environment.
- Open the Norwegian BankID provider page.
- Fill out the order form. The form guides you through the required information.
After you submit, Idura reviews your order. Your signatories then receive the agreement for signing. Once everyone has signed, Stø issues your credentials. Expect around 10-13 working days from submission until you receive your credentials. The dashboard shows the status of your order.

You consume one unit every time a user successfully logs in or signs a document with BankID. Failed transactions do not count.
No other fees apply. Social security numbers (“personnummer” in Swedish) are always delivered at no extra cost.

Apart from your subscription to Idura Verify, you will be paying for actually consumed transactions (logins or signatures) from the underlying national or bank-provided eID service.

To start accepting real users with Swedish BankID, you must first request a certificate to identify your organization.
Idura acts as a reseller for Swedbank, which means that you will have to go through a simple approval process with Swedbank. The process is managed by Idura.

- Open the Swedish BankID provider page.
- Fill out the order form. The form guides you through the required information.
After you submit, Idura reviews your order and forwards it to Swedbank for approval. Once approved, we install the certificate in your Idura tenant. Expect 8-15 working days from submission until BankID is enabled in production. The dashboard shows the status of your order.
